India Cultural Center and Temple is a unique temple in North America. This is the only temple that has been performing annual yagnas for more than 20 years. Also, it’s the only temple celebrating Sri Venkateswara Brahmotsavams as in Tirumala and Navarathri celebrations. Every festival and all religious rituals were performed as per Vaikanasa or Shaiva Agamas. Even day to day activities from Suprabhatam to Pavalimpu seva were performed as it’s done in Tirumala and known prominent Shaiva kshetras. Vinayaka Chavithi and Nimajjan were celebrated in a grand scale with the support of Vaikhanasa Agama chief priest Sri Narayanam Venkata Satya Narayana Acharyulu, Sri Pradeep Kumar Deevi, Sri Prashanth Rudrapaka, Sri Raghuram and Sri Bala Ganesh Ganjam.
Various teams and committees worked very hard, day and nights for several months to make this event a grand success. No doubt this is one of the major events in the Mid-South people of all colors whether African American, Caucasian, Mexican and Indians of all regions such as Telugu, Tamil, Kanada, Malayali, Hindi, Gujarathi, Assami and others will come and enjoy the food, shopping and cultural programs.
