Sri Lankan President Maithripala Srisena called up the Chief Minister Sri N Chandrababu Naidu to inform that they have decided to give five hundred acres of land to Government of Andhra Pradesh to develop an industrial park in their country.
This is a follow up to the proposal made by the Chief Minister when he visited Sri Lanka recently.
The Chief Minister informed Sri Srisena that a team from Andhra Pradesh will soon visit Sri Lanka to take the proposal forward.
A team consisting of members from industry and tourism department will be sent to Sri Lanka soon.
Sri Lanka and Andhra Pradesh have decided to closely collaborate in the Tourism sector.
