ATA Convention 2024 @ Atlanta - Arrangements in full swing, many global Stalwarts attending
A small incident happened recently, in a popular city in America. Around 10-12 guys, around 25-30 years old, were talking in a restaurant. Out of curiosity, when asked what they were talking about, they said, elections, ATA convention, movies etc. When asked if they are going to Atlanta, they said yes, some families are driving together. Arrangements are in full swing for the humongous, Tera 18th ATA Convention and Youth Conference in Atlanta from June 7 to 9. Cultural, Literary, Music, Dance, Spiritual, Business, Entrepreneurship, Awards, Arts, Health, Leadership, Arts, Matrimony, Pageant and many other special programs are going to be held in those three days. ATA expressed many times how important the youth is to them and have even shown it in action. There are many events that are useful and fun for the youth. There is a dedicated Youth committee too, for the convention. It is no exaggeration to say that the convention is going to be a marvelous mix of fun, wisdom and knowledge. Telugu land dishes are going to be very mouth-watering and delicious. It has become a tradition for many years, to present ATA awards to contributors in various fields. Late evening musical concerts are always a special attraction. Programs are being organized for women empowerment. As for the esteemedl guests, the Chief Ministers of the Telugu States Sri. Revanth Reddy, Sri. Jagan Mohan Reddy, many famous actors, directors, writers, scientists, businessmen, lawyers and experts in various fields were invited by the ATA leadership. The Georgia Congress Center venue is huge. It is estimated that 15 to 20 thousand people will come for the convention and this center is very accommodative. Many teams went and saw the facilities, under the leadership of ATA President Madhu Bommineni and Convener Kiran Pasham. On this occasion, President Madhu Garu said, thousands of people are working hard for this convention for hundreds of days, which is commendable. She also invited everyone to be part of this convention. As far as America is concerned, the Governor of Georgia Mr. Bryan Kemp was invited. He said, would definitely try to make it. ATA core team cordially invited the Indian Consulate General in Atlanta, Sri. Ramesh Babu Lakshmanan. Convener Kiran garu said, it is always an honor to invite our CG Sri. Ramesh Babu to ATA Convention, where there are festivities and activities for all ages. His presence is going to make the program more vibrant, he added. Congressman Rich McCormick, Senator John Asoff, State Representative Todd Jones, Commissioners Laura Semonson, Alfred John, City Council Dilip Tunki, Bob Erramilli, Narender Reddy, as well as city mayors and other leaders were invited and they gladly accepted. Most of the work related to procuring items from India and America is completed. When it comes to Exhibits, there are going to be more than 200 stalls. Even though many people want to setup Exhibits, they were sold out already. From ATA Executive Committee, President Elect Jayanth Challa, Past President Bhuvanesh Boojala, Secretary Ramakrishna Reddy Ala, Treasurer Satish Reddy, Joint Secretary Thirupati Erramreddy, Joint Treasurer Ravinder Gudur and many others are working hard to make the Convention a grand success.
