I believe Operation Raavan will bring me closer to the audience: Rakshit Atluri

Rakshit Atluri, acclaimed for his roles in films like Palasa and Narakasura, is set impress in the upcoming movie "Operation Raavan," where Radhika Sarath Kumar will play a pivotal role. Produced by Dhyan Atluri, this new-age suspense thriller is directed by Venkata Sathya in Telugu and Tamil. Sangeerthana Vipin is the heroine. "Operation Raavan" is scheduled for a grand worldwide theatrical release on the 26th of this month. In a recent interview with Rakshit Atluri shared interesting things about the film:

- "The concept of 'Operation Raavan' originated during the Covid-19 period. Following 'Palasa,' discussions at Sudhas Media centered around what kind of film would appeal to the young generation, leading to the decision to produce a thriller.

- "I've always known my father's passion for cinema; he has been involved in story discussions since 'Palasa.' With confidence in his vision, we embarked on 'Operation Raavan.' While shooting 'Narakasura' and 'Sasivadana,' we meticulously developed the script until it was perfect before going into production.

- "During filming, Radhika Sarath Kumar and Charan Raj appreciated my father's direction. It's not easy to satisfy everyone on set, which speaks volumes about his talent as a director. Radhika garu has been incredibly supportive throughout. Working under my father's direction has been a unique experience; not many get such an opportunity, and I'm grateful for it.

- "To broaden the reach of 'Operation Raavan,' we've announced a special initiative where viewers who identify the character 'Psycho' in the film and message us on WhatsApp will receive a silver coin. I'll personally present these coins in cities like Vijayawada and Vizag. This isn't just a promise; we've minted a thousand silver coins for this purpose.

- "The film 'Operation Raavan' doesn't intend to deliver a message; rather, it delves into the transformation of its central character, Psycho, due to circumstances rather than inherent traits. We've also explored the clash of ideologies on screen, a narrative seldom depicted. I'm confident audiences will be captivated, especially during the scene where Psycho visualizes his thoughts, which left me spellbound upon revisiting."

- They say that after doing Palasa and Narakasura, I'm taking on all serious roles. I have that fear too. But I can confidently say that movies like "Operation Raavan" and "Sasivadane" will reinvent me. I believe these films will bring me closer to the audience.

- In the movie "Operation Raavan," we've given the psycho character a mask. After referencing many designs, we selected the best one, which is painted to resemble wild animals like tigers and lions. This mask gives a distinctive appearance to the psycho character.

- In "Operation Raavan," I portray the character of Anand Sriram, a TV reporter. I've always wanted to play a dual hero-villain role like this on screen, and you'll have to see if that's achieved in this movie. I sustained an injury during an action scene where I jumped onto a container in a bike sequence. I performed all the stunts myself.

- The thrill of watching a movie like "Operation Raavan" can only be experienced in a theater. The immersive sound enhances the experience, making it clear that this film is crafted for the theatrical environment. While I won't claim I worked excessively hard on my acting in this movie, the action sequences demanded rigorous preparation. Additionally, "Operation Raavan" features a unique love story.

- Acting alongside Radhika was an unforgettable experience. She effortlessly completed scenes in a single take; if unable to do so, she'd feel disappointed. Her commitment to acting discipline has been consistent since her earlier days in cinema. Her insights, though not advice per se, were inspiring. Radhika is known for her brevity in speech.

- The movie includes a devotional song that imbues us with courage for our endeavors. I still aim to leverage the success of Palasa positively. Unfortunately, Covid struck two years after Palasa, and I remained committed to the fixed appearance required for Narakasura, limiting my ability to work on other films. However, we've meticulously crafted "Operation Raavan" and the upcoming "Sasivadane," hoping for favorable outcomes.

- The background music (BGM) plays a crucial role in "Operation Raavan," provided by Vasanth. Watching our movie in a premium Atmos theater enhances the viewer's connection. Work on Palasa 2 is ongoing, and audiences can anticipate its release.
