Sri City Celebrates Annual Festival of Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy temple 

Temple premises Infused with resonating Vedic chants and Go Puja

The serene Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy temple in Sri City came alive with devotion as a large gathering of devotees participated in the annual festivities on Saturday. Along with employees, devotees from nearby villages flocked to the temple to take part in the religious ceremonies.

The celebrations commenced on Friday evening with Vedic scholars performing rituals like Maha Sankalpam and Kalasha Sthaapana pooja, Punyah vachanam, and the recitation of Vishnu Sahasranamam. Early Saturday morning, special poojas were offered to the Lord starting with Suprabhatam, followed by sacred rituals including Ganapati Homam, Navagraha Homam, and Sudarshana Homam. Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder and Managing Director of Sri City performed the Homam and poojas. took part in the Go Puja (cow worship) amidst resonating Vedic chants, creating a deeply spiritual ambiance.

Expressing happiness at the grand culmination of the event, Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy lauded the active participation of devotees in large numbers. He warmly encouraged the Sri City community to visit the temple and seek blessings from the Lord.

The aforementioned events, coordinated by Palleti Balaji, Madhusudana Reddy, and PSB Sastry, drew devotees from surrounding villages, Sullurupeta, Tada, and Sriharikota, as well as the Sri City community. All the devotees received teertha prasadam and anna prasadam. Devotees expressed their happiness at having the opportunity to see the Lord and take part in various religious rituals.
