Sri City CFO bags prestigious CII’S ‘CFO Excellence Award’

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Southern Region organised the third Edition of the CII CFO Excellence Awards in Bengaluru on Thursday.  Mr. R. Nagarajan, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Sri City received the CFO Excellence Award from Mr Kris Gopalakrishnan, Past President, ClI & Co-founder Infosys, Chairman, Axilor Ventures, and Mr.Kamal Bali, Chairman, CII CFO Excellence Awards& President & Managing Director, Volvo Group in India. 

He was selected for this award in recognition of his exceptional expertise as CFO, particularly in areas like treasury and cash flow management, developing innovative financial oversight systems, ensuring transparency in compliance, and his efforts toward social causes.

Dr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director of Sri City, congratulated him and said, “We are immensely proud to bag this prestigious award. We extend our appreciation to CII for creating a platform that celebrates the brightest stars of India’s finance community.”

The CII’s CFO Excellence Awards conclave, which is its 3rd edition,  brings together top financial leaders from India’s most influential companies. This award was instituted with the objective of identifying and acknowledging CFOs who have demonstrated outstanding capabilities and exemplary achievements in the finance function. A distinguished panel of experts and peers oversees the rigorous selection process, recognising those who demonstrate excellence in financial leadership. The award includes a trophy and a citation.

As CFO of Sri City, Mr. Nagarajan has been recognised with numerous prestigious awards in recent years, including the CFO100 award from CFO India in 2022, the 'Best CMA CFO' Award from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India in 2021, and the 'CFO of the Year' title at the Asian CFO Leadership Awards in 2021.
