American Telugu Convention - Painting Competition held in Dallas
As the American Telugu Convention by ATA and TATA is fast approaching, preparations are in full swing.
As the goal of the two organizations is to preserve our arts and culture, promote youth talent and serve the community, the organizers conducted painting competition for the children in Dallas.
The competition was held at Four Points Sheraton, Coppell. About 100 children participated in the competition.
The competition was divided into 3 categories, namely, Acrylic, Color Pencils and Crayon.
Arts and Crafts Committee chair Madhumathi Vysyaraju, Co chair - Jyothsna Vundavalli and Member -Chaitanya Medam have planned and coordinated the competition.
Local painting school teachers Brindha Naveen, Savitha Nalla have designed and conducted the competition and selected the winners.
The winners are Crayons:
1st Place: ROSHNI BUDDHA
2nd Place: SRISHMA PASUPULETI
2) 10 - 12 yrs Category - Color Pencils:
1st Place: ADITI AVULA
2nd Place: CHANDANA PAGADALA
3) 12 - 17 yrs Category - Acrylic Paints:
1st Place: KYATHI GOWKANAPALLI
2nd Place: AVANEESH BUDDHA
Joint Executive committee members Ajy reddy, Raghuveer Bandaru, Vikram Janagam,Satish Reddy and Mahesh Adhibatla have handed over certificates to the winners.
Madhumathi vysya Raju and Jyothsna Vundavalli thanked Jyothsna Vundavalli the participants, their parents and the teachers for taking part in the competition.
ATC volunteers Deepthi Suryadevara, Madhavi Lokireddy and Sunitha Tripura have helped in coordinating the event.
