Day 36 of Praja Sankalpa Yatra Begins
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy begins his padayatra by interacting with lawyers from Anantapur at Uppunasipalli crossroad. During the interaction, the lawyers requested YS Jagan Mohan Reddy representation in electoral politics for the legal fraternity in the upcoming 2019 assembly elections.
The padayatra will continue through Vasanthapuram crossroad, Garudampalli crossroad, Badannapalli village, Malukapuram crossroad and Gotluru village.
Several disgruntled groups of people from different walks of life are turning up to meet YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on his padayatra in Dharmavaram, Anantapur today.
On the 36th day of Praja Sankalpa Yatra, AP Rural Employment Guarantees Scheme Field Assistant Union members met YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. It was brought to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s notice that they were dismissed as Field assistants in 2014 after the first cabinet meeting of TDP government. Urging the opposition leader to bring back the same jobs they have lost and also to provide job security, members of the Field Assistant Union submitted a petition.
Lawyers of Anantapur extended their support to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on his 3000 Km long walkathon. During the meeting, they criticized Nara Chandra Babu Naidu for not fulfilling the promises made for lawyers in the 2014 election manifesto. The lawyers also submitted a petition with a list of demands which includes establishment of High Court division bench in Rayalseema, allocation of a grant of Rs 100 crores for the welfare fund of advocates, stipend to raw juniors and allotment of housing sites for advocates.
OC Welfare Association members met YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Highlighting the difficulties faced by the economically deprived upper caste section of the state, members of OC Welfare Association urged YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to implement the recommendation laid down by Major General Sinha Commission
YS Jagan assured all the groups of people from different walks of life that he will look into their greivances and address them on priority once he forms the government.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met Bhagyamma, wife of late Chenna Reddy at her home in Badannapalli village, Dharmavaram today. The YSRCP chief also paid homage to late Chenna Reddy who was murdered over a land issue. Aggrieved Bhagyamma broke down before YS Jagan.
Deeply saddened, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy condemned the murder and expressed his concerns over the failing law and order situation under the Naidu Government. The opposition leader asked local party unit to help the family in everyway possible and further assured that justice will be delivered to them once YCP forms the Govt.
As YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s padayatra continues with great success, it has started creating big jolts to TDP. TDP leader and Minority Cell Joint Secretary Rawoof resigned from the party and joined YSRCP in presence of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during his padayatra at Malukapuram cross road junction.
Rawoof joined YSRCP along with his 60 other members of TDP as Muslim minorities are not getting due importance in the Yellow party and Chandra Babu Naidu has failed to fulfil all the promises he made during 2014 elections. “ TDP has gone to a new low in politics and playing cheap politics” he added.
