YS Jagan Praja Sankalpa Yatra 24th Day

Representatives of the Ananthapur chapter of University Teachers Association (Contract) Andhra Pradesh (UTACAP) submitted a petition to Jaganmohan Reddy bringing to his notice the ad-hoc basis of their employment.

In the petition, teachers claim their services have not been recognised and made permanent despite being fully qualified. 

Representatives also stated that they continue to be underpaid even after 5-10 years of service.

The petition put forth 2 prime demands towards cancellation of the proposed screening test by APPSC and assurance of job security to the dependent families of ad-hoc teachers.
