YS Jagan Praja Sankalpa Yatra 72nd Day
Representatives of Andhra Pradesh Editors and Journalist Association of Sri Potti Sriramulu, Nellore district met YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and shared their grivances.
They submitted a memorandum to the opposition leader and requested him to work for the uplift of Journalists in the state.
Their demands include formation of Corporation for Journalists, Rs 10,000 worth advertisements per month from Government to local media houses, free educational and health facilities to Journalists and editors and Mr.Reddy assured the journalists that he will formulate policies to uplift the status of journalists in AP. He also promised YSRCP would form corporation for journalists, provide houses and would be given Government advertisements to media houses once it forms government.
